NEW BRADWELL ST PETER FC SCORE FUNDING SUCCESS TO IMPROVE THEIR FACILITIES
The Football Stadia Improvement Fund, supporters of the Football Foundation, and the largest funder of non league football in the country, today announced a grant of £87,469 to New Bradwell St Peter Football Club.
This award will enable the club to build a new changing room pavilion, a new training area and new toilet facilities for spectators.
The existing changing areas are in a poor state of repair and they fail to achieve the minimum standards required. The football club therefore is planning to install a new modular changing facility which will provide two dual gender changing rooms, accessible toilet/changing areas, two officials’ changing rooms, a treatment room, small kitchen and storage areas. The modular building will comprise of reinforced concrete panel walls and galvanised steel roofing all internally insulated with a powder coated steel finish – a requirement of the planning consent so that it fits in with the existing buildings on the site.
New Bradwell St Peter Football Club is a members club and forms part New Bradwell St Peter Sports Association which also encompasses a New Bradwell Cricket Club.
Over £90m has already been invested by the Football Stadia Improvement Fund since its launch in July 2000, funding lower league ground improvements throughout professional and amateur game, creating a safe and modern environment for fans and players to enjoy the game.
Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Stadia Improvement Fund and Football Foundation, said: “On behalf of the Football Stadia Improvement Fund I am delighted to be able to award this grant to New Bradwell St Peter Football Club.
“A vibrant community team is vital for the future of football. The Football Stadia Improvement Fund’s aim is to revolutionise funding for the grass roots in the same way the professional game has been transformed over the last ten years. I pay a particular tribute to the hard work and dedication all at New Bradwell St Peter FC for making this funding a reality.”
Brian Clarke, of the New Bradwell Sports Association, said: “We are delighted with this grant from the FSIF and look forward to work starting on the new facilities in the near future.”

We are pleased to announce that Steve Tucker has decided to take a step up a level to join the club as Assistant Manager for the First Team. The former Yeading and Wealdstone player will prove to be a valued signing as we look to take the club forward. Steve, 46, will start immediately, he leaves his post as Reserve Manager at Division Two side Mursley United.
We had chased him for a while and were wanting to do something of a link up between the club for pre-season friendlies and player links. We beat Mursley United's first team 4-0 earlier in the season, the match report for which can be read on the match reports thread. Steve stated that he wanted to step up a level as he could see that New Bradwell are a forward thinking club. Welcome aboard Steve. We're sure you made the right decision.
